September 10, 2025: The world lost one of its bests today.
I keep seeing Candace Owens’ tweet on X:
“I can’t process this…”
I think that’s how we all feel right now. This afternoon, Charlie Kirk was shot at a Turning Point event in Utah. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, losing lots of blood from a single gunshot wound to the neck.
He…has died. He was murdered in front of college students. Why?

A bright young man, husband, father, and Christian, Charlie has truly been one of the best of us. He only ever encouraged thoughtful conversations between people with different views, but like so many others, he was maligned by the establishment media. His story has always been one of peaceful discourse. He spoke out against the rise of violence, only to become another victim of it.
So, yeah. Candace’s words sum it up well. I’m finding it very hard to process this information without a lot of grief and anger billowing up. So many of us wanted see God work another miracle, like He did when they tried to assassinate Trump. But that wasn’t in the plan. This makes us wonder, just what is the plan?

I can’t imagine what Charlie’s wife and kids are going through at this moment. God, console that family as only You can. Shore them up with the love and strength of those surrounding them. This day has to be redeemed somehow. Let something good, hard as that is to imagine, come from this awful incident. I don’t know what else to pray.
God knows the hurt of our hearts. It all still feels so unreal. I still can’t believe it. My only comfort is knowing that Charlie is being welcomed into the heavens right now. I’ve no doubt he’s with Jesus. And I believe we’ll see him again very soon.

This world is screeching to an end. Each day, it feels more obvious that all of this is almost over. Evil may rejoice at what it sees as a victory, but the truth remains that righteousness will have the final say. May that glorious day come ever quickly.
