Indefensible

The Kingdom Light – Episode 1095

On today’s program, I’m gonna revisit a controversial topic – one that is painful for me to talk about because of how deeply it hurts my heart, and I know it breaks the heart of God. I’ve discussed this issue at length in the past, and on more than one occasion. But it’s still a present issue that cannot be ignored. I ask your forgiveness in advance for the graphic nature of this particular episode, but I believe we have to expose the fullness of evil that exists within this difficult subject matter. It has been sugar-coated, glossed over, and completely misrepresented for far too long.

Let’s begin in ancient times when several tribes of people used to worship many false gods. Among those deified as gods was the arch-demon, Molech/Moloch. In addition to sexual rituals, Moloch worship included child sacrifice which involved tossing babies into bonfires. As reprehensible as it sounds, a young couple who sacrificed their first-born child in such a way believed that Molech would then grant them good fortune in life.

At some point, large statues were built of this demon. He was depicted as having the body of a man and the head of a bull. In the sacrifice ritual, fires were lit beneath the upward-facing hands of Moloch. These metal hands would get extremely hot, and then babies offered up would be placed into those glowing hot hands by a Molechian priest. As you can imagine, the sacrificed children would scream in pain and gladly opt to roll off the hand into the fire below. Again, I apologize for the horrific pictures this paints in our minds, but we need to understand just how evil this practice truly was…and still is.

What?! This kind of thing can’t possibly still be going on, can it?! The ritual has changed somewhat over the years, but it indeed continues to this day. Now, however, the ones who offer up their children for sacrifice have no idea what’s actually happening. Oh, they willingly give over their unborn babies, but the priests have been swapped out for physicians who mutilate and extract the unwanted children. Some parts are collected for supposed medical use, and the rest is then incinerated. They call this abortion.

It’s touted as healthcare, but no one seems to care about the health of the aborted babies. It’s deemed a reproductive right, but there’s nothing at all reproductive about killing the unborn. They call it a medical procedure, but it’s really the barbaric butcher and murder of an innocent and defenseless human being. And this evil act takes place most often purely out of convenience for someone who failed to choose responsibly when having unprotected willful sex.

As I mentioned in my very first blog post, The Truth About Abortion, the three most identified examples of “hard cases” in which aborting the fetus might even possibly be “justified” are in the cases of rape, incest (familial rape), and when the pregnancy threatens the life of the mother. In reality, however, reported cases of rape or incest being the reason for having an abortion are around 0.33%. And cases where abortion is utilized to protect the life of the mother is about 0.1%. So that means that all these hard cases combined amount to less than HALF of one percent, leaving more than 99% of abortions as simply a matter of convenience.

Whether in ancient times or modern times, sacrificing an innocent child’s life on the altar of convenience is completely indefensible. It’s not a matter of “my body, my choice” because that choice of what to do with your own body was made when you carelessly had sex of your own free will. The growing fetus within you is NOT your body. That’s your baby’s body. And we are obligated to nourish and nurture and care for that child. Life is ordained by God, and we are to be held responsible for our actions because they have consequences.

Most people, when confronted with the reality of what abortion is, will agree that it is morally wrong. And I have to warn you that I’m about to show you one example of what an aborted baby really looks like. It is not for the faint of heart, but I believe that we MUST KNOW THE TRUTH. If you have been on the fence regarding this issue, or if you have found yourself vehemently opposed to what I’ve been telling you today, this is going to be your wake-up call. If you have defended abortion as perfectly okay, then you need to look closely here at just what it is that you’re defending…

Disgusting, isn’t it? This is the ugly and evil truth of abortion. And it doesn’t matter if it’s done at 8 weeks, 20 weeks, or whenever. It’s still ending the life of an innocent. If this image does not turn your stomach and break your heart, then God help you. All the stories you’ve been told about abortion being an important part of women’s healthcare, it’s not really a life yet, it’s just a clump of cells, and on and on – that’s all a bunch of lies from the pit of hell. And THIS photo should convince you of that.

Folks, I’m not trying to shock you, though it IS shocking that we’ve allowed this travesty to continue for so long. I’m trying to open your eyes to the truth. Sometimes, the truth is ugly. Sometimes, it’s horrific and hard to look at. But if we just keep on ignoring it like we’ve been doing, this senseless slaughter will just keep on going. And all the demons will continue to rejoice at our demise and at the debasement of our seared consciences.

We’ve been desensitized to so much cruelty. Through movies and television, we have become unmoved by the blood and gore around us. Hell loves it. The indefensible attack on the unborn is an open defiance of the very image of God. Jesus said that the innocence and purity of children is like unto the Kingdom of Heaven. And as for those who harm those little ones in any way, the Bible says it would be better for such people to have a millstone tied around their necks and be tossed into the sea.

Make no mistake, a day of reckoning is coming – SOON. When that day comes, I want to be found doing the Father’s will – which includes helping protect the lives of those who cannot protect themselves. No matter what fiery darts or flaming arrows the world wants to throw at me for doing so, I will never cease to advocate for the sanctity of human life. Ever.

I am a blood-bought saint of God, saved by His amazing Grace! God called me to start Great Commission Ministries online in June of 2011, and that began as a video series called "The GC." After 7 seasons of that web-series, I felt led to expand the ministry to blogs as well as a new video series I called "67 seconds of Encouragement." Eventually, the blogs became a podcast. And the ministry continues to grow from that, currently in the form of The Kingdom Light podcast. My prayer is that this ministry brings hope and encouragement to everyone who finds it. Please share it with others and help spread the Good News of Christ!
