Free Fall

The Kingdom Light – Episode 1090

With each passing day, it feels like we’re headed toward something. It’s like time is winding down, and any day now could be the day some major event changes everything. Have you felt that? I certainly have. Even with all the wild stuff that’s happened lately, none of it really seemed as shocking as it should have. It’s like, I’m already expecting something really big to happen, so I’m not at all surprised by the things that have happened so far.

If you’re tuned into the Holy Spirit, you can likely sense a growing angst among mankind. From the situation in the middle east with Israel and the unrest with her neighbors, to the polarized political divisions here in the US, it is increasingly evident that our world is like a powder keg. The fuse is lit, and it could explode at any moment.

God revealed an important lesson to me in a recent dream. In this dream, I’m on a plane with a lot of people. Something goes wrong with the engines and we end up in a free fall. We’re high above the clouds, so it’s gonna take some time for us to hit the ground. But it is certain that we’re all going to die very soon. My gut instinct is to start sharing Jesus with everyone.

“Anyone here who doesn’t know Jesus, let me introduce you to Him right now,” I say loudly. I tell them about His love and mercy, His plan of salvation, letting them know that this is not the end. I tell them about eternal life in Christ and how we need not fear death. Eventually, my words turn into rejoicing as the clouds draw closer because we’re about to be with Jesus forever!

Just before we’re all enveloped within the clouds, the dream shifts. I’m now in a church giving a testimony about my free fall dream. I’m telling the crowd of people everything I just told you – falling, sharing Jesus, the whole thing. And it becomes obvious that this is how we should be trying to reach the lost in our present day. The end is near, we know it. The world is in free fall, and time is growing short. We should be desperately attempting to save as many people now as we possibly can.

Folks, I implore you. It’s time to get serious about our great commission. Reaching the lost has never been more important than it is right now. Petty political differences are meaningless. That fear you have of looking like a crazy person talking about the end times means nothing now. All that matters is saving souls from an eternity in hell.

God made a way for us. In His infinite grace, He provided an escape. Knowing that we could never live up to His holy and righteous standards on our own, knowing the power of sin is more than we alone could overcome, He sent Jesus to live a sinless life and then die as sacrifice for all sin. Then Christ conquered death for us as well!

We don’t have to understand every single aspect of it. We don’t have to get a degree in theology. We don’t have to be perfect or sinless to accept His free gift of salvation. Jesus lived the life none of us could. Jesus paid the price of sin so none of us would need to. We don’t have to die in our sins because Jesus already defeated death, hell, and the grave. We can live forever with God by simply believing in Jesus!

This is the Gospel message the world needs to hear. God loves you, my friend. He loves you so much because you’re His creation, His child. I believe He gave me that dream to give you this message. Time is almost up. We have to put aside every offense, every hurt feeling, every grudge, every difference we have with our fellow man, and share Christ and this Gospel message in love. And we have to do it right now. I cannot stress this enough.

Folks, the Bible tells us from the prophet Joel and in the book of Acts – in the last days, God will pour out His Spirit on all flesh, young men will see visions and old men will dream dreams. Well I guess that makes me an old man because I’ve been dreaming these dreams about the end times for the last few years. God has been revealing things that have blown my mind, and I’m telling you we are getting very close to the end.

I don’t care if you think I’m crazy. I don’t care anymore what the world thinks of me when I share Jesus. That’s our job as Christians. I will not be silent. I will not stand down. I will stand up and stand firm on the truth my God has shown me, and I will proclaim His Word until He calls me home. I pray you will do the same, and may God bless you and give you the right words to say in season as you help spread the Good News of Christ.
