Last weekend, I made a call for Christian warriors to get in position to be used by God. The reason? Souls are at stake. Unfortunately, there are millions of people today who don’t realize the true worth of their souls.
– Show Intro –

Alright, let’s go. As you may know, the entertainment industry is loaded with people who have placed fame and fortune above everything else. Not everyone, but far too many. They are so focused on THIS life and what they can attain in the here and now that they aren’t seeing the bigger picture of eternity.
Even worse, we’ve seen some who appear to have actually sold their souls to the devil for wealth and fame here on earth. So many music artists went from innocent sounding happy-go-lucky types to hardcore in-your-face wicked. And it seemingly happened overnight.
Taylor Swift is a prime example. I was still a country music DJ back when she first came on the scene. I recall her being all peppy and, you know, normal. But then something awful happened. I believe she quite literally sold her soul to satan. All of the sudden, she became this uber-famous and wealthy, highly successful superstar. And have you SEEN her radical change?

And yes, those red streaks designed into her outfit – those are snakes.
But it gets even worse. Taylor herself has claimed to now be a witch. And these shots from her videos are downright demonic.

She is now a billionaire. But at what price? Her soul? Heaven help her. The really scary thing is, there are others who appear even more evil than Taylor. Beyoncé, Doja Cat, Lil Uzi Vert – whose name was chosen because it sounds like little lucifer – and more are among those who have embraced the dark side.

Truthfully, y’all, I am barely scratching the surface on how hellish it’s gotten out there. So many people have decided to trade off their souls for the limelight, money, and notoriety. We have to pray for these people, seriously. They have become the tragic posterchildren for the Bible passage found in Matthew, Mark, and Luke, which says:
What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul?
Folks, your soul is worth so incredibly much more than most people realize. Satan wants to drag as many souls as possible to hell, and he’ll do whatever he can to accomplish this. This is why we’re in the soul-saving business. God desires everlasting joy and peace for your soul, whereas the other route leads it to eternal torture and damnation.
Those who think the riches and fame they can get right now in this life by selling out to evil is more important than what happens to their soul after they die – for them, it’s all about how much wealth and how many followers they can attain. The devil has promised them everything they want if they’ll just turn over their souls to him. What a frightening prospect.
But the Bible tells us that the love of money is the root of all evil. We are warned about placing so much stock in the things of this life.
Matthew 6:19-21
19 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Everything in this life is temporary. All the material things are temporary. Those shiny things, expensive things, pleasing things – they are all temporary. And compared to eternity, this life is so very short. Why focus so much on the temporary stuff when eternity is so much longer and none of those things are of consequence there?
How do we lay up treasures in heaven? By following the commands of Christ. By helping those in need. By caring for widows and orphans. By doing all the righteous things God’s Word tells us to do. And leading souls that are gone astray back to Jesus is one of the greatest ways to build up treasure in heaven. Remember: Verse 21 indicates that, if our treasure is in heaven, then our hearts will show it through our deeds.
The value of a soul is enormous! Don’t give it away for fleeting pleasures. Gaining everything this world has to offer will mean nothing on judgement day. All that will matter then is, is your name written in the Lamb’s Book of Life?
